BPM

MS PerformancePoint Server

Microsoft PerformancePoint allows customers to monitor, analyse, and plan their business as well as drive alignment, accountability, and actionable insight across the entire organisation!

"OK - that's nice, but what is PerformancePoint Server (PPS) really?"

If you've found us you probably have some idea (if not then click here) but in simple terms it's made up of three key modules:

PerformancePoint Planning

Budgeting and forecasting application that has been newly developed for the PPS suite (over the last four years!)

PerformancePoint Monitoring

A radically updated (and improved) version of MS Business Scorecard Manager

PerformancePoint Analytics

Extending Excel's already very capable analytic functionality with the best bits of ProClarity

"Great! a Microsoft version 1.0 product, call me when SP3 comes out"

Yep we know where you're coming from but:

a) It's based on Microsoft's well proven SQL Server application stack.
b) The Monitoring and Analytics components are based on previously released and proven applications.
c) Microsoft has been using the planning component for their own budgeting for the last two years!

"OK but why would I choose it when other vendors have been doing BPM for years?"

Another good question:

a) The Price! at under £13k for the server component and £120 per user it's set to revolutionise the BPM market and put BPM in the realm of a huge audience where previously it's been restricted to large enterprises.
b) It's Microsoft so there will be plenty of reasonably priced, skilled resource out there to help you implement it - like us!
c) It's a technically excellent product that will integrate seamlessly with all your other Microsoft products (think PowerPoint that can display live data in your presentation to the board).
d) Did we mention the price!

"So there's a load of specialists out there - I think I'll shop around"

Hold on! Adatis have been working with PerformancePoint since it's beta release and are considered one of the leading authorities (yes we're blowing our own trumpet here but just try a few PerformancePoint related Google searches). Our consultants are passionate, technically superb and can actually speak to you without baffling or patronising you.
